I’m Isabella Littleford—a professional fashion insider who’s spent years studying the balance of couture and comfort.
With over a decade immersed in the fashion industry, I’ve had the privilege of honing my craft in Paris, the capital of couture and working alongside top-tier global designers. That experience taught me to recognize high-caliber craftsmanship, fresh concepts, and enduring style. I’ve always been captivated by Golden Goose sneakers, a brand that perfectly combines a distressed, lived-in vibe with luxury-level build quality. Here, I’ll walk you through my thoughts on different Superstar models, diving into their style, comfort, and versatility.
Whether you’re a die-hard sneaker collector or simply looking to inject a bit of chic into your wardrobe, I’m here to guide you through it all with insights drawn from my years in the fashion trenches. Let’s dive into why Golden Goose sneakers deserve a spot in your lineup!
A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (which I originally featured in this post), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also worn them enough now that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.
So I’m diving into a bunch of common questions, as well as how to grab them for less, below! Also, if you’re in the mood for more fashion reviews, take a look at my comparison of Abercrombie and Agolde jean shorts, Goyard tote bag breakdown, and Dudley Stephens fleece review!
Where can I find a pair like yours?
Cettire had them on sale and I jumped on it right away!
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were shipped to me ball star by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast and that’s a win in my book
How expensive are they?
When I ordered my pair in spring, I paid $385.43, but their standard price is around $514.
You can expect to pay between $410 and seventeen hundred depending on their uniqueness.
Are they true to size?
They’re true to size in my experience, at least for me.
They haven’t stretched at all, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size

How comfy are they?
Honestly, they feel great, and only took a few hours to break in..
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
These are the best sneakers I own. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose still come out on top. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Stunning.
Would you recommend them?
Absolutely! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them on sale is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you find a style that suits you. I chose a loud pair, but a neutral version would also go with everything.
Discount sources?
Scroll down for my go-to sources. I had a 10/10 experience with GGoose.org, so I suggest them first.

Where did you buy them?
I grabbed mine from Cettire when they had a limited-time deal going on.
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was really quick .
What’s the going rate?
I snagged a pair for $385.43, though they usually retail for around $513.91.
You can expect to pay between $410 and $1,700 depending on their design features.
How is the fit?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36. They haven’t stretched at all, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up
Are they comfortable?
They’re extremely comfortable, and only took a few hours to break in.
How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched.
Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
